Founder of Schoessler Strength, specializing in evidence-based training for overhead athletes with a focus on long-term development and injury prevention.

My journey in strength and conditioning began with a simple realization: every athlete is unique, and their training should reflect that individuality. With a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and experience working with athletes at every level—from youth players to MLB Draft Picks—I've learned that the most effective training programs are built on a foundation of evidence, individualization, and long-term thinking.
During my time at Penn State and later at Cressey Sports Performance, I had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented athletes in the world. These experiences taught me that success isn't just about physical preparation—it's about developing the mental resilience, consistency, and character that allow athletes to thrive under pressure and continue growing throughout their careers.
Today, through Schoessler Strength, I'm committed to bringing that same level of expertise and individualized attention to every athlete I work with, whether they're a weekend warrior looking to stay healthy or a professional athlete chasing their dreams.
Every athlete brings their own unique background, goals, and limitations. Training programs should be tailored to the person, not the other way around.
Following Aristotle's philosophy, true fulfillment comes from developing virtue through facing challenges and growing through adversity.
Real change happens through consistent effort over time. It's not about perfect days—it's about showing up and doing the work.
Training should support longevity and health, not just short-term performance. Building athletes who can thrive for decades, not just seasons.

Outside of training athletes, I have a deep passion for endurance sports. I actively participate in endurance races, including marathons, which gives me firsthand experience with the mental and physical demands of long-distance training. This personal pursuit not only keeps me connected to the athlete mindset but also informs my approach to programming for endurance athletes and understanding the unique challenges of building both strength and aerobic capacity.
"To help athletes at every level develop not just physical strength, but the mental resilience and character needed to thrive in sport and life. Through evidence-based training and the pursuit of eudaimonia, we build athletes who are stronger, more capable, and better prepared for whatever challenges they face."
